elcome to the totally tropical taste of the new Air3 website. Air3 1350 is the campus radio station for the University of Stirling. For over thirty years students have locked themselves away in the depths of Airthrey castle learning the necessary skills needed to keep an audience of tens captivated.

The new millennium brought with it a new transmitter and Air3’s possible audience leapt to almost 10,000 students. Air3 offers the campus a variety of programming, from the Saturday Sports Centre and the Air3 News to live radio drama and of course, a cavalcade of music.

Air3 offers any Stirling student the opportunity to join the station. Hopefully the numbers involved will continue to rise and the quality of Air3 will continue to improve. The innovation and experimentation of the early days remain as Air3 evolves into an increasingly professional service.

I hope that every Stirling student has the opportunity to tune it to Air3 and enjoy what we have to offer. Keep checking this site and our notice boards to find out what we’re up to but most importantly flick that switch to mw and spin the dial to 1350,
